"Never be the norm! If you're not the lead dog, the scenery never changes!" That's the ethic that propelled Dave Horne to success while still very young. At age 12, he had jobs pumping gas, cutting lawns and delivering newspapers. By age 14, David was investing in the stock market. David's success in the stock market led to the purchase of his first investment real estate property at age nineteen, the same year he began his career with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.
David started his career with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in 1979 as a college intern and converted to a full-time Financial Representative in 1982. Dave Horne has been named The Cornerstone Financial Group's Financial Representative of the Year six times throughout his tenure. David has over 30 years of experience to draw from.
Dave Horne has found his niche working with high net worth individuals and small to mid-sized business owners. He credits the Network with offering many opportunities to assist clients with their financial needs and he regularly works jointly with his colleague, Hans Myklebust, to offer his clients the most accomplished and thorough financial preparation.
Dave Horne is a 2008 National Quality Awards qualifier, and has earned this award in 1984-1996, 2000, and 2002-2008.
The National Quality Award was created in 1944, the NQA recognizes agents whose persistency records indicate competence and dedication to the insurance industry and their clients. Agents who win this award have tangible evidence signifying that the products they sell will meet the client's needs.
 Dave Horne is also a qualifying life member of the Million Dollar Round Table. MDRT is The Premier Association of Financial Professionals. Dave has qualified for Million Dollar Round table every year since 1985. Founded in 1927, MDRT provides its members with resources to improve their technical knowledge, sales and client service while maintaining a culture of high ethical standards.
